Description

Original British LSA Co Martini Henry 1881 MkIII Rifle .303 Conversion with Socket Bayonet French Gun Magazines Presented is a nice original Presented is a nice original example of that engineering design called the “Navy” type carbine which had its barrel covered in a black leather covering as rust protection against the sea elements (leather covering is now absent) Some Allied infantrymen mistakenly assumed that the launcher's curve plate was propped on the leg to fire and thereafter referred to it as a "knee mortar"
